Hard-Reset for my Pocket PC???

May I know what is the difference between Soft-Reset and Hard-Reset.
Anyway, I want to hard-reset my HP IPAQ h1940 Pocket PC and I don't know the steps in doing it.
I only know how to soft-reset my Pocket PC by using the stylus to press the reset button but I can figure out how where is the Hard-Reset button!
I need to do this since I am going to give my Pocket PC to someone and I want it as if it looked like I first bought it.

Hold down the power button while doing a soft reset, and that is a hard reset my friend.
