You can pick up a keyboard for it for just $19.99 on Amazon's site. I'm not sure if this is an error or if they're cleaning inventory out, but it's hard to beat. Plus, if you can get your hands on an adapter, you might be able to use it with a newer iPAQ. Not bad! [Affiliate]

Update: PPCT member alexar reports you can get the adapter here for $9.95.

The problem with that is you can no longer seat the iPAQ on the keyboard.

Think Outside used to sell one themselves, but I don't see it on their site at the moment. :| It was a small block that would sit on the Stowaway, on which the iPAQ would sit.

Is this the one with the curved surface that the pda sits on? IIRC I've heard that at least for the 2200 series, you can file down the edges and the 2200 will sit on it just fine then. The connector is the same.

For the 2200, you actually have to file the adapter. ;)

Here's where you can buy the adapter for $9.95:

They also have directions for filing the plastic down so the H2200 fits better.

I ordered the keyboard from Amazon and the adapter from ThinkOutside. It all arrived today.

When I installed the v1.6 driver from the supplied CD, it killed the power button on my iPaq 4355. Everytime I turned the iPaq off, I was unable to turn it back on again. When I soft-reset the iPaq it would come on again. I removed the drivers and reinstalled. Same problem.

I downloaded the v2.1 drivers from http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/index.html. It now seems to work.

I think I need to file down the adapter a little more. I get messages about connecting to the USB cradle as I hammer away at the Stowaway keyboard.

Yep, this was a known issue with the < 2.0 drivers. In general, I always check a website for the latest drivers before actually using the bundled CD for most any peripheral, Pocket PC or desktop.

Congrats on your purchase. :)
