Some Progs and Games don't install on SD card

Some of my games says i need to reinstall the .cab file. It doesn't say this when i install into main memory.

also. the game "The Mark" and "Street skater" install but when running the game, they freeze on loading screen.

I've tried several times over the last year to get The Mark to run on three different PPCs with no luck. It ALWAYS freezes on me too. I have no idea why.

Sometimes the apparent freezing is really just a long initialisation time because it takes more time to access the SD card than the main memory. I remember when I installed NetFront to an SD card, it took a long (and I mean LONG) time to load the first time, but after the first loadup, it loaded up normally after that. Just be patient with loadup times from SD cards. As with the reinstallation of .cab files, I'm not too sure. Perhaps you should uninstall it and try reinstalling again?

How long do I have to wait? The icons from the folder are popping through the game so that i can see the black loading screen and some icons coming through the game. My boyfriend has been wanting to play this for quiet sometime.

It all really depends on the software.

I remember I had to wait abt 2-3 minutes when NetFront first started up. After the first loadup, it took abt 3 seconds.

So it really depends on what the demands of that game is. But I'm sure if you wait long enough, the results will deliver. And in the extreme case you're waiting there for abt 1 hr, then the thing may really have a bug if installed on an SD card :roll: .
