how come my ewallet software doesn't always open when i tap the icon? is it because it's stored in my cf card? should i put it in the main memory? iit's in the cf card since my main memory is running low. sometimes i have to do soft reset just to be able to open it. please help . . .

I doubt that the CF card storage is the reason why it fails to open. My wallet is installed on a CF card, and I haven't experienced the problem you describe with any wallet software.
However, I have experienced the problem you describe with large games that require a lot of memory to run. Since you say that your memory is running low, I would strongly suspect that this is the reason you are having trouble with your wallet opening.
This theory is further supported by the fact that you can get it to open after performing a soft reset...which clears out your ram. I would try to clean out the programs and files that you don't need. Both, the ones that are installed in internal memory, and the ones that load up into ram when you boot up (soft reset).
Maybe you could move some of your installs from internal memory to your CF card.

Note that alias2210's wallet and eWallet software may be installed on the CF card -- so that might be a variable worth playing around with.
Nevertheless, I agree with a lot of Deltrevan's comments. One additional question: does this tend to happen when you leave eWallet running and turn off your PDA for some time?

thanks to both of you for the quick reply. appreciate it. to will try to follow your advice.
to answer janak's question, i do close my ipaq for quite sometime after running the ewallet. but i think i do close the program before i turn off the ppc. i tap the x on top after using the ewallet. i guess that's how you close it right it? btw, hw does this affect that it's not opening right away?
thanks again :)

"X" doesn't close it by itself, unless you're using a taskbar replacement. (I'm not saying it should happen, it might be a useful datapoint when comparing why it works on one setup as opposed to another.)
