Education, and healthcare education, and healthcare, in general, require lots of "surveys" or "questionnaires" to be completed. Usually, these are on paper, sometimes online, but rarely via PocketPCs or PDAs.
Can people recomment specialized software for collecting survey/questionnaire data on PDAs, or are there great "forms" that have been used with more generic database/form software? The best software would have the survey-creation, survey-delivery, and survey-collection/upload combined into a single "system" for simple "turn-key" use by non info-tech people who just want an improved way to ask questions and gather data.
PDAs have the advantages of:
--being handy, in one's pocket
--using wireless to down/upload the survey and responses
--possibly being used to deliver smaller/shorter surveys more frequently, which MIGHT lead to better response rates and better responses.
--possibly deliver complex surveys, with branching/etc.
--using colors, multimedia, etc in the survey
Thanks for any comments.
