ive solved all problems but one

OK. I did it. I bought an 8 in 1 USB card reader, and I have to say, it's AMAZING. I was trying to transfer a 192 meg video file onto my CF card, but Activesync kept dropping the connection after about 38 meg was transfered, and I didn't want to deal with that problem again (yes, again) so I bought a Card reader and got the file onto my cf card in what seemed like less than a minute! AAHHH! wonderful.

but I was told I could backup my memory cards with a readr, by making a backup image or osmething of them? Any idea on how I would do something like that?

I'd just copy the stuff off the card and compress it.

I did have one issue with my card reader... I could not use it consistantly plugged into a hub... once I gave it one of the dedicated usb ports it has been fine.

sandisk or imation SUCKS?

When i copy thru activesync/explore, it is slow, but it gets to job done onto my sandisk sdcard.

When i copy thru my imation "flashgo" card reader, it gets the job done faster, but with larger files it WIPES OUT THE ENTIRE CARD!

What do you think? Is it cuz i'm using scamdisk or imanidiotation?
