I don't know if this will work for you, but I made a password card in eWallet, and wrote my WiFi WEP settings in there. I've only needed to look it up once, but it was nice to have it with me.

Are you talking about the WEP encryption key? If so, and the network is really your network (as opposed to some random one you connect to), you might be able to go to the wireless admin section of your router and just read the password there.

If that doesn't display the key in clear text, you can just create a new key and enter that on your Pocket PC.

You "could" try searching the registry but it's a random thought and after a hard-reset where you lose everything, it's not of much use. I very much doubt the settings will be saved to a "simple file" that you can open.

Rather than spending minutes to even hours playing with your ipaq you have one of two options:
1. have a good backup (e.g. sprite) program so you can restore all your settings - including wi-fi profiles (not 100% sure this'll work seeing i haven't done it myself. Maybe someone else will know).
2. Ring the company IT or other approprate section and explain the situation to them and (hopefully) they'll give you the settings/keys somewhere safe. I can understand why they're reluctant to give out WEP keys though, because anyone with a valid MAC address (easily spoofed) and the passphrase will be able to access the network.
