Anyone know the best books to buy for how to make the most of your Pocket PC? I have Windows Mobile 2003 OS on mine so a most recent book would be best.

I am considering "How To Do Everything With Your Pocket PC, 2nd Edition" by by Frank McPherson and Tim Green but will buy a different one if anyone knows a better option.

Thanks!

David

I haven't read it myself, but have heard good things about the "How to do everything..." books. I'd give them a whirl.

I don't know which device you have, but the "Dummies" book series just published this (http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764567691,subcat-HANDHELD.html) last month. It covers the WM2003 OS, but it is geared towards IPAQ's. If you are unsure if it will help you, the Table of Contents is available on the website.

I have numerous advanced technology books but I will also admit that the Dummies series has it's merits as well. They take a humourous and fun approach and can be very infomative.

Good luck!

The best "book" is this forum . It is searchable and if you ask the "book" a question, it actually answers 8O.

I am not trying to be funny. This forum is the best resources for using Pocket PC. You could use the money you save from not getting any book to buy a cool app or two instead.

My Axim X5 is the first PPC I'd ever owned. All I need to know about PPC I learned from lurking around Pocket PC Thoughts and aximsite.
