Does anyone know if it is possible to have an Ipaq2215 use a larger external touch screen for display and input? I.e. a navigation display screen. What kind of input would I need into the navi unit? Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks

You mean a Navigational display in an automobile? I don't think they have any way to connect....

How do those LCD screens in cars connect anyway? Know of any hardware that can take a VGA output and put it to one of those? That way you could hook up a screen (not touchscreen) through a PPC that supports VGA out.

I have found a way to get video into the navigation display. They use an rgb converter that plugs into the navi unit and will let you plug in any type of device with video output. What I need now is to be able to use the touch screen for input.
There has to be a to be a way to get this accomplished. If it can be done think about the quick easy addition of a complete auto pc to any car with a built in navigation unit.
Built in voice-recognition software and I could write e-mails and letters while driving!! Ahhh!!
p.s. I am in sales and spend ALOT OF TIME in my car.
Thanks for any help
