First let me state my budget, I dont want to spend more than $200. I am happy buying refurbished. I would like a SD slot. A small size would be nice too. Any suggestions?

Or how about the Zayo A600 (Asus A600) if you can find one.
I think its under $200.

If you'd like, you can get a PalmOne Tungsten | E for under 200. It's not able to access the internet, but it can do pretty much everything else with a three hour battery life and a really nice screen. It's also small, a little smaller than my wallet. I enjoy using it, and I do pretty much every day. It always alarms when I set it to and reminds me for every event (numerous daily), it views graphics with great colors and resolution (320x320) and also watches vidoes and plays mp3's. I'll warn you now though, the latter two are much more difficult than they need to be. You need an sd card to use most files, as the device won't allow you to install them into the ram. You don't need the sd card for .jpg or .gif files, but you can use one if you like. The device has an sd slot.

Sorry all you PPC fanatics, I'm just making sure bigcanoe knows their options.

Also, isn't the low end Dell ppc under 200? I originally had that device, but I returned it because it wasn't quite what I wanted. (The screen was too dim and yellow.)

The Dell Axim x3 is available on eBay for $150 new. The x3i (integrated WiFi) is about $260. They're very small devices and, while I don't own one, I used to own an X5 and it was great!

I agree with pacemkr
Asus A600 or HP 1940
I played with my aunts 1940, er maybe 1930, anyway, at the time(a few months ago), i was drooling over it insanely, and would love to have one, but yeah! really nice, and can have built in BlueTooth as well!!!

I really like the HP iPaq 1945, it looks great, good features and small. The HP iPaq 2115 is really nice too, with dual expansion slots.

I would suggest the Hp1940 series unit... but I don't think you could get it for under $200... I have the Hp2210 unit and it's a nice device... would love to have the new Asus A730... but I guess I will have to wait... and see what lies in the days ahead.

My brother just got a Hp1910 off Ebay for about $125... that would still give you enough money to get yourself a SD Card...

Someone here at work is selling a 1910 for $125, but I cant help but think I am gonna want more power. I guess I could buy this, and then upgrade in a few months, its a pretty good deal no?

The 1910 is a very basic device. My wife has one and it works great for her, but her needs are not at all advanced. If you want any level of power or expandability, I'd agree with the recommendations here an go fo the 1940.

I just got my 2215... the Bear is powerfull !!! :devilboy:

I was between the 1940 and the 2215... double slot was the deal maker for me.

Ya, I am really drawn to the dual slots. Its a case of need now vs. want later.

Can you still get a v36 for $199? It's the cheapest digital cam PDA out there.

Wooo, cool Bill, I just found out the Viewsonic V36 is 179 after rebate right now, it ends May 1st. That seems like a great deal.

Someone had a Casio E-200 for sale in the forums here for $150 shipped.

It is only PPC 2002, but it has dual slots, and USB host capability, plus it has user replaceable battery.

Just a FYI, I ended up buying the used H1910, its a great starter device for me, and I got a good price from a guy at work.
