Find the "Find" function of PPC a joke. File Explorer lacking in any "search" function and quite frankly, the ability to organize ANYTHING in the PPC a joke.

Perhaps I'm too addicted to the file structure of Windows, but...

Isn't this a Microsoft product? What are some of the good programs? The best????

Resco Explorer (http://www.resco-net.com/homepage.asp) is a very good alternative to the built in one.

I believe there is a free alternative though, although the name doesn't come to mind.

There is and it's called Total Commander for PocketPC (http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm).

I just wish we would see some updates to this one! Last update was August of last year. I know the developer is still working on the Windows version of his software, I just hope he hasn't bailed on Pocket PC...

total commander pocket is the best file manager around.
but the author christian is too busy on desktop counter part which is an excellent program too, so he cant update frequently.

I second that. Resco File Explorer is great, much better than the File Explorer that comes with the PPC.
