If you can live with a very basic piece of software the 'DK Diary' by DKSoft is a useful freeweare app. You just enter each entry in (but remember to 'save' it). Pity, of course, you can't sync it with your PC (at least not to my knowledge).

This was supposed to be a reply to the post' looking for good journal/diary software'. So, the adminstrators can move it, sorry about the inconvenience.
