At this time developer has: drawed landscape, active objects on the map, system of keeping the game in the memory. Developer wants multi-game via bluetooth, IR and GPRS."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/1.JPG" /> <br /><br />I have fond memories of Heroes of Might &amp; Magic - it would be great to see this on the Pocket PC platform. However, I'm not holding my breath - I remember seeing screenshots of a Warcraft port, and that never saw the light of day (as far as I know). Still, let's hope this comes to pass!

who doesn't have good memories of these games... I still play warcraft II and starcraft. Starcraft isn't that old at all though.

Has that warfare inc. game been posted here? It's ok, although it lacks the same fun that the traditional pc rtsf games provided for months and months and months.

HOMM 3 was for most HOMM fans the best of the series. As a turn based game it could be ported to the PPC relatively easily by concentrating on the gameplay (nicely balanced) and trimming the graphics.

While not holding my breath, this would be a great port if they manage it!

OK, this is getting serious: Age of Empires, Tomb Raider, Worms, Heroes of M&M. What will be next Quake3arena ?

I love the idea of GPRS multiplayer! 8O

Does anyone know if any of the other games (AOE, etc.) offer this? That would seriously make it worth the price.

You are not alone there Jason - for me Warcraft was the first game of its type I ever played and I still love the mix of absorbing gameplay and fun characters etc. I continue to live in hope that this may one day see the light of day.

I have never tried any of the HOMM series, but if it does come out in a PPC port then I am sure to give it a go.

HoMM3 was one of the best turn-based strategy games ever made - and cost me many an hour a few years back. I would love to see it ported to the PPC. :)
