Looking for street map of Japan software

Hello, I am new to the pocket pc world and I am looking at purchasing a the Ipaq pocket pc or even any pocket pc, but only if I can find software for Japanese street maps. I have spent hours searching the internet (Google both in English and Japanese) for software that renders Japanese street maps. You know Streets and Tips or mapquest.com or perhaps Pocket Streets or whatever it is called? I want something like that, but for Japan. Can anyone please point me in a direction or give me some info on where I can find this. Right now I have nothing. Anything would be helpful. Thanks Email me at: [email protected]

You should be able to buy maps for those for Japan.

i have looked all over and cant find maps that are vector street maps. there are all kinds of other maps, but i cant seem to find vector street maps like those used with microsoft streets and tips, etc.

I found two interesting products:

Super Mapple Digital, Version 4 (http://www.mapple.net/smd/)
MioMap (http://tshimizu.cocolog-nifty.com/good_job/2004/03/miomap.html) - I'm not sure if you can buy this separately - you may have to buy the Mio 168 (http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA006474/) to get it.
