I am looking for a wifi sniffer for my 4150 and I am not sure which programs will work.

Thanks,

Lee

I'm fairly sure that the 4150 has an Intersil chip, but I may be mistaken. I CAN confirm, however, that Pocket WiNC (http://www.cirond.com/site/products/wifispotter.htm) works just fine with the 4150. Just make sure you turn on the WiFi radio first.

It's a TI TNETW1100B.

PocketWinC works fine - as far as I know it is the only wifi monitor that does work with the 4150.

Incidentally, I get much better distance performance from the wifi in my 4150 than colleagues get with their Toshiba 740 and 750s.

Thanks for the info. One more question, Is the TI TNETW1100B

the Intersil chip

Thanks for the correction, dturner! Lee: Nope - the TI chip is made by TI, not Intersil. You can find information on the TI chip here (http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/news/article.php/1455421).
