I use Skype almost everyday on my desktop PC and they have recently released the PPC version.

Has anyone managed to get this working on the PPC. I am currently using an XDA II, Sandisk SD WiFi, Pocke Skype) ?

It just sits there trying to sign in without success.

I use it on my h4150. I had it going on a wi-fi provider around town, and at home I have it working while connected to a Bluetooth LAN Access Point or to my desktop via Bluetooth LAN Access.

The Bluetooth bandwidth is good enough for Skype, meaning you can use wirelessly at home even without wi-fi.

It works fine on my Toshiba E755. Btw you can't use the VOIP feature of Skype with GPRS, the bandwith isn't good enough.

He should be able to log on though; on the skype webpage it is written that you are able to text-chat if you use gprs.

I am using a sandisk wifi. I have just read the skype forums (i should have started there first!) and found that it seems to be common with the XDA II's. No one has been able to get it going.
