I make calls when I drive and would like to take notes for the call later. I find that to look at the calls list and then open a seperate app is time consuming.

thanks

Pocket Informant 5.03 (http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_pocketinformant.php) has a nice telephone journal function when dialing a number from the contacts list but I don't know if they support dialing the phone directly since I only have a PDA. In my case it generates the DTMF tones to dial the number but it is possible that for a mobile phone that this function actually dials the number.

If not then you should send the suggestion to the developers since if this function is not implemented for Pocket PC phones it should be. Try it out, it will probably work for you.

Pocket Informant 5.03 (http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_pocketinformant.php) is highly recommended by myself and many, many others.

PI does do a great job of integrating with the XDA. I have an i-mate and use PI. When you initiate a call from your contacts, you get a journal entry to put things in like call duration and notes. You can also turn off the journal entries.
