2215 rom upgrade

I have a question that I hope can get a quick link to for an answer. I have been using my 2215 for a very long time. I connect to the internet through bluetooth and an AT&T Sony/Ericsson T616, and a D-link wifi CF card when such a connection is available or when I am at home. I have been hesitant to upgrade the ROM since the new one became available (sometimes these setups seem very precarious). I was wondering if doing the upgrade was worth it, and, for as much as I know about my 2215 I know very little about how it works with a PC, does anyone have a link to a "how to" for doing the upgrade and making sure it is easy to reconnect my ppc to all the applications and data that are deleted during the upgrade process?

yes it wipes out all the data from your device, even the data on the rom.
youll find all the information you need on the support page.

and for the changes you can read the improvements and bugfixes and decide to upgrade or not.
i personally choose not to update, and wait for wm2003 update because rom updates can be dangerous
