Hi

I purchased a new 2210 yesterday as my visor decided to self destruct,
now i need to put all my contacts onto the 2210.I was very happy with the palm desktop software as i usually put the data onto my pc via desk top
then hot synced to my visor as the larger format was much easier than tapping it into the visor key board, can i do this with my 2210 ??? cant
seem to find anything on the cd that came with my 2210 that has a desk top inteface ??.

Also Is there a good buisness/sales package for contacts etc that can download for the 2210

Microsoft Outlook should have came on the CD. You need to load it and then Import all your information into Outlook. Using Activesync, you can then put all your information onto your new 2210. :D

If you already have and are using Outlook, just download and install ActiveSync from the Microsoft website:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/downloads/pocketpc/activesync37.mspx

ActiveSync will keep your contacts, calendar, e-mail, etc... synchronized on your PDA and desktop. It also let's you directly view/explore the PDA files from you desktop so you can manually drag and drop files both ways. ActiveSync also lets you install apps onto your PDA -- just run the installers while ActiveSync is running and they'll get transferred to your PDA.

The two most popular add-on PIMs (Personal Information Managers) are:

WebIS Pocket Informant 5
http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_pocketinformant.php

Agenda Fusion 6
http://www.developerone.com/agendafusion/

They are both EXCELLENT.
