Hey guys-

I just ordered a refurb 1945 and now I'm trying to figure out how I should go about getting a case and screen protector(s) for it.

I've done some research and narrowed my choices, and before I make my decisions I would love to hear from you guys.

1. Which case should I get?
- Aluminum: InnoPocket or Rhinoskin
- Leather: so many choices-need help
2. For screen protectors, do you think it would be just fine to get those cheap ones (like 12 for 6 dollars) on Ebay?

And also, could you guys let me know some good places that carry cases and screen protectors that offer good prices? (Especially for the case, I really need some help.)

Thank you so much for your time, and I hope you have a great day! :D

You'd be better of narrowing the field to things that appeal to you and then asking what folks think of them. A broad 'what should I get' usually ends up with little more than a listing of what people have. You are right, there are a lot of choices, but it's like asking 'what kind of car should I buy.'

Take a look at www.ipaqcases.com to get a smattering of what is available. If cost is a factor, be aware that in most cases (pun intended) you get what you pay for. I have always been pleased with SENA cases if you like a leather flip case. Good quality, decent prices.

Screen protectors are the same. Most folks are fairly passionate about the ones they are currently using. The PPCTechs ones seem to be the cadillacs. They are not cheap, but most who have them swear by them. Not sure I would waste the money on 50 cent screen protectors. (not a fan of their music either)

Thank you so much for your reply, Sven! I really appreciate it!

(I'll try to be more specific next time! :) )

i am very happy with my aluminum one...i just ordered it onff f ebay and got a great deal.

as for the protector, i used to use one bu tstopped (since HP decided to keep it after sendin in my unit for repair).

i love the feel of the bare glass. smoothe.

i have heard from several 19xx users that they have not used any protectors and the glass is fine.
that is the way i am going for now.
besides, for any of the decent ones, they are ehtihg hard to install and are far too costly or they just suck.
