Unable to delete mail, pls help.

I use regular PPC E-mail client. I didn't sync my e-mails for a long time since I don't like "big" outlook and I use Outlook Express. Yesterday I installed SyncExpress (utility allowing you to sync emails and contact from/to Outlook Express) and found out that always after syncing I get a message 1 unresolved item at "Messages" (email). I was wondering what's up and found a mail in PPC mail application in ActiveSync->Deleted items folder. This email cannot be opened or deleted. After tapping it simply nothing happens and the same thing occurs when I tap-n-hold it and tap delete. This email is not in my Desktop_outlook_express->Deleted items folder (it doesn't sync). I cannot get rid of it! Someone help, please.

OK, I figured out the problem myself.

A found out that some messages (or whatever) is stored in \windows\messaging - deleting them didn't help. I found that my databases related to a mail are pmailXXXXXX databases (access Pocket PC databases like contacts, tasks, ...). Deleting or "emptying" them caused that mail client didn't work (didn't even start). So what did I do:

1. Backup whole my device (using iPaq backup)
2. hard-reset my device
3. backup pmailXXXXXXX databases (again using iPaq backup)
4. restore my iPaq from complete beckup
5. restore pmailXXXXXX databases from the second backup

I've lost all emails on my iPaq, but then synchronized them via ActiveSync back. Also, <u>ALL</u> mail client settings got lost, but it's only the small problem.
