I plan to purchase a Pocket PC on eBay, have been looking @ the Toshiba e330 and e350, but the e350 appears to only come with 16 MB Rom and the previous e330 came with 32 MC, what exactly is this going to effect?

I have also been checking out the Viewsonic s37, I can not seem to find a decent round up of PDA's from say early to mid 2003. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The only thing you can use ROM for is installing an OS (already preinstalled there), but while Toshiba doesn't release OS upgrades to many of their current PDAs it is useless to have bigger ROM.

I don't think there really were any good Pocket PC's released in this period. A new version of the OS was released in June 2003, so all the companies pretty much waited until June to release their new devices with the new OS. You'll notice that from June on, there were quite a few new releases. The same thing is happening now. They've anounced WM2003SE, so we probably won't see anything new until it's released.

Hi,

For this price, I would look into getting an h1945; comes with Bluetooth, SD slot, 64MB mem, bright screen, fast Samsung 266 processor (feels as fast as my PXA255 on my 4155). Plus it's got an ultra small form factor. It's not the fanciest PPC, but I think it's one of the best PPC values out there right now.
