HP 2210 + HAICOM GPS: Need help as its DANGEROUS

Hi,

Need a little help from you guys. I have a HP2210 with Haicom GPS (Compact flash card) and i run Tomtom. Everything works fine........

But when i am driving periodically i get a message saying "New modem device installed, cannot fine driver...etc". and an option comes up with intenet installation or home.. something like thta on the top right hand corner.

Not really a problem unless you are driving at 70 MPH and have to use your right hand to tap the dismiss option on the screen...!

Any way i can get rid of this notification that comes up periodically....?

Not sure about TomTom. For other GPS software, if you manually fix the GPS com port instead of choosing auto detect, this usually resolve the problem.

Sorry, i think i know why it does this. I have a task bar prog.. and what happens is active sync starts occasionanlly (As shown in the task bar..) and this starts to look for a connection and gives a message.. at least thats what i think so far..!
