Amazing VGA enhancements are complete and will be included in the v6.1 release. (No devices are available at this moment that support VGA and WM2003SE and this will simplify distribution and minimize download size for this release.) When you upgrade or purchase your registration code for Agenda Fusion v6.0, you'll be able to apply these updates as soon as they're available!"<br /><br />While this version doesn't include VGA support, landscape <b>is </b>included, as well as enhancements to the Task View, Category Filtering, Alarm Notes, and more. It looks like it's worth checking out!

I guess it is why Alex@PI has to work hard to get VGA supported. Developerone act so fast to support VGA. If I didn't remember wrong, this is the third apps supporting SE VGA now.

Does it support VGA? I thought it only supported landscape.

Nope - per my post, "VGA enhancements are complete and will be included in the v6.1 release."
It's great to see all these vendors quickly adding support for WM2003SE.
Now, if the hardware manufacturers would hurry up and release upgrades so that the rest of us can actually USE these features!!!

PI 5.02 supports VGA fully but not landscape yet. Sounds like a PR move on AFs part.

That was my thought. I'm sure people were requesting it. Shows how far behind they where. You'd think they would wait for the VGA portion to be finished before releasing 6.0.

I do not think that this is so important... Show me a device with WM2003SE and VGA...
Even when AF 6.1 comes, there won't be any devices..
Why not concentrate on the new features and the fact that AF does support WM2003SE?

Let's not hijack this thread and turn it into a PI vs AF debate - there are enough of those.

I thought PI has always supported landscape? Back in the days when I used Nyditot to rotate my screen, PI worked fine.
I'm also glad to see developers quickly adding landscape/vga support to their programs.

Do not also forget that AF does currently support landscape mode. If the OEMs release updates, most of us will be able to take advantage of the landscape mode, not the VGA...

I Agree! both programs are great and I am excited about their constant improvement.
AF 6 does bring quite a few new features, so we better discuss about them. Personally, I love Year view coloring. The Tasks View is also greatly enhanced..

Well I installed AF6 after I saw the screenshots of the alarm notes, and I really like how they are actually organized according to the folder they're stored in. I found AF6 to be a little sluggish especially in the calendar modules... :? Does anyone else notice this?

PI does support landscape fully- just not in an optimized way. For example most of the dialogs don't reposition themselves into a more favorable position. Other than that, 5.02 fully supports landscape in every way.

You're right Alex. I apologize for not being clear. I've been using PI in landscape happily since 4.6. :D

Personally, I find that AF6 screams in all calendar modes. On my 2210, it's definitely faster than 5.x.

Here's a quote from the D1 website:
"Version 6.0 fully supports dynamic landscape in WM2003SE. Amazing VGA enhancements are complete and will be included in the v6.1 release. (No devices are available at this moment that support VGA and WM2003SE and this will simplify distribution and minimize download size for this release.) So there was no need to wait, since VGA support is complete. And when there are WM2003SE VGA devices available for consumers, you can bet that the VGA support will be ready and waiting for them.
As for the "far behind" comment, both AF and the competition released versions with WM2003SE support within just over a week of each other, and well in advance of the availability to consumers of devices that can utilize those capabilities. John has been working hard on this support ever since the development specs for the OS upgrade became available.

For me it's just slow switching between the different calendar views, bringing up appointments for editing is snappy though (I'm using an iPAQ 4100).

AF6 is for me very fast in all views. I am using an iPaq H4150...
