Sony Ericsson dumps Symbian, announces plans to release Microsoft powered cell phones soon, Symbian UIQ ported to Windows CE 5.00
this is the headline from msmobiles.com.
i cant tell you how happy i was when i first read the article. i hate nokia and this move would bring nokia to an end. and i will be glad to see SE by microsofts side.
but then i realised that this was an april fool joke

This thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26387) should give you some explanation.

His information is useful, but when the owner of the site calls me a bitch (and worse) (http://groups.google.com/groups?q=msmobiles.com+AND+bitch&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&c2coff=1&safe=off&selm=15bb601c4168b%2440868740%24a301280a%40phx.gbl&rnum=1) in public forum, one might say there is a problem.

if sony is the #2 palm mfr and a major symbian mfr, why would they go to msft's side. Believe me, id love to see a p950 with wm smartphone, and a clie ux80 with wm2003se but it wont happen. Better yet, they should let you choose your os.

....and then god invented a mail bomber and everyone was happy. But my powers can only be used for good - or can they?

Thanks for the info. Guess I missed that original thread. Link has been removed from my favorites folder (only visited occasionally anyway). Certainly something I can live without.

Dang.... this is definitely a site that I will never visit. I'm sorry Jason that you have to put up with this crap by this guy.
