Documentation from HP, Netgear, & Cirond leaves much to be desired. WiNc on Sony GRT290ZP shows "green" connection 100% signal internet available. PocketWiNc also shows "green"connection 0% signal no internet available. Cannot sync via WiFi. Cannot surf web.
Thought active sync might be problem so trashed 3.7.1 and returned to 3.7. NO luck Just downloaded new 3.7.1 build posted on Microsoft site March 26th. Will try that.
Internet sharing enabled. WEP enabled and manual key entered correctly in both IPAQ and Sony.
Can anybody point me to a comprehensive primer(s) that deals with wireless connectivity on the IPAQ with built-in WiFi. I need to create Preferred Networks with WiNc that allow me to connect to my Netgear wireless Router at home and ad hoc to my IPAQ5555 when on the road. :cry:
