Why is it that when an appointment reminder comes up on both my IPAQ 4155 and my laptop (ipaq is connected) and I dismiss the item on the PC it removes it from the IPAQ's list of waiting reminders ... but NOT vice versa??

Hmmmmm, maybe settings in Outlook or ActiveSync? Mine works both ways.
You should perhaps try new ActiveSync (if you don't already have it).

Yeah I am running ActiveSync 3.7.1 and Outlook 2003 on the laptop. I can't recall if I had this issue with Outlook 2002 ... so not sure if it has to do with the upgrade.

I'm using Outlook 2002, that originally shipped with my h2210. The ActiveSync 3.7.1 is the newest, but note, that there are 2 builds (maybe more?) of it. Build 4034 is the newest one and it seems to fix quite a lot of bugs - maybe you should try it if you don't already have it.

Well I upgraded my Active Sync 3.7.1 build from 3244 (I think) to the latest 4034 and it didn't seem to have any impact.
I created a test appointment, waited for the remind to show up, dismissed the appointment reminder on the Ipaq while it was connected, and the reminder remains on my laptop.
Any other suggestions out there? :?:

Short-sighted developers at Microsoft. :( No fix, no solution (that I'm aware of).

I have the same problem, I can never get appointment reminders to update outlook 2003 (not tried other versions) and if I'm lucky it will work the other way around

where & how do you find such builds?

Microsoft puts them up on PocketPC.com, the problem is that the version doesn't change very often, but the BUILD does...so there's no way of knowing when a new build comes up unless someone installs it and sees the new build number. Very silly.
