I just bought a new hp foldable keyboard for my ipaq, and while overall happy with it there are a few small problems which I'm not too sure about. Firstly, I have a 4350 which is a bit longer than the 4150. But theres a subtle difference. The bottom edge is much straighter than the 4150s which is curved. Since this particular model says it is compatible with the '3900, 4100 and 5500' series (or something like that) I was wondering if this had anything to do with the shape of the moulded plastic support housing the connector (I'll try and post a photo). Ie. it is only compatible with ipaqs with a curved bottom edge. Although, technically the 4350 functions with it, it does not sit properly. What I mean is, it only goes about halfway down the connector and the PPC often disconnects and reconnects to the keyboard. This can occaisionally be a problem as the keyboard occaisionally does not respond. Could anyone help me out here? Thanks

From the Think Outside Stowaway Keyboard FAQ (http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/faq.html)

How do I modify a keyboard (Stowaway & XT) or adaptor to fit the iPAQ 2200 series? (http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/faq.html#modify)

I would assume that the same, or similar, modification is required for your 4350.

Bought the Stowaway keyboard for my 2215. Took my dremel tool and carefully ground away the connector on the keyboard til the IPAQ fit.

I did try connecting the keyboard to the 2215 without the mods Stoway recommends and it did work but I was afraid that the slightest movement of the keyboard would have disconnected the two. So I did the mod and it works fine and seems more solidly attached to the 2215
