I made an enquiry (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23213) a few months back regarding Janak's post (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5990) about a CF to SD adapter by Panasonic.

Well I finally found it available at Brando (http://shop.brando.com.hk/panasonicsdcfadapter.php).

I couldn’t be happier.

I took my empty Kingston 256MB SD card, placed it into the CF adapter and stuck it into my Canon PowerShot S10 digital camera to see how it works. The camera had no problem reading the SD card in the adapter and after taking a few pictures, I was able to plug the camera into my PowerMac and download the photos. I was even able to plug the CF adpter, with SD installed, into my Ericsson MC218 and read data from the SD card.

Of course it was no problem inserting the SD card into my iPaq 2215 and viewing the photos directly from the SD card.

Admittedly, I expected it to work :D

Any of you who are looking for a way to use SD cards with your Pocket PC and your CF Cameras, this seems to be a viable solution.

Always thinking, 4 gig microdrive in my SD slot
man, do you think this could happen!
CF is much bigger than SD slot, so the adapter will be out of the device.
plus CF has 16 bit bus and SD only 1 bit.(SDIO has 4 bit)
this could be sooo slow and useless

All the more reason why I would like to see manufactures continuing to produce devices with dual slots (CF and SDIO).
