I have an Ipaq 1940 with a Sandisk SD wi-fi card. Main pc has XP pro with a Origo wireless LAN card. I am unable to connect though it appears I'm half way there as I get a signal showing in pocketWINC but the signal bars in the PPC 2003 config screen are greyed out

I'm lost! The ip address on the main pc is 192.168.0.1 and the PDA is 192.168.0.2 - Correct ?

Wether I use WEP or not I still can not connect so am unable to use IE on the 1940. I have tried 2 drivers from sandisk and the socket driver but no change. Can anyone help please ? I would upload some screenshots but seems I can't do so on this forum

You must have shared your internet connection to use IE on Pocket PC or to connect your PPC to internet generally.

On your Desktop PC:
Start -> Control Panel -> Network -> Settings on your network card that connects you to the internet -> Advanced tab -> check Allow other users to use this internet connection (or something like this).

- this is if you are connected to the IT via LAN, if you're using modem or something similar I'm not able to help you, but it should be similar.

ICS is enabled and working fine with a wireless card in my laptop. The main pc has an internal adsl modem
