When I try to sync with my desktop at home I get an error that I have 49 unresolved appointments. When I try to resolve them, I get an error message that the above apointment can't be synced with the desktop Outlook because the start field is invalid or something like that. It tells me to clear this field on my ppc if I want to sync this appointment with my desktop.
Here is the funny thing. I have gone to this date, both 1999 and 2099, in both Outlook and on my ppc and there are no appointments for this date. I can't fix something that isn't there.
This isn't an issue at the office, when I sync here all goes well with no issues. Anyone have any suggestions?
I am thinking about just doing a hard rest this weekend to fix it, but I don't really relish that option. :)
This started btw, when Dell sent me a replacement X3i. I didn't pay any attention when I did a complete restore from the previous day. Sprite Backup gave me a message about the current ppc has a different ROM version and do I want to continue. I just said yes because I was in a hurry and wanted my ppc back up in running and I wasn't thinking. Could this have caused this issue? Other than the above sync problem at home, the unit is running just fine.
Thanks,
-Eric
