View Full Version : Security troubles
I'm interested in protect my PDA against other's access. So I'm trying encryption software, but when thinking of passwords I can realize there's a problem with 'SUGGEST' words on typing. That's it: if I wrotte any password in a Note when writting a new Note it SUGGESTS me the ENTIRE PASSWORD!!
How can I delete HISTORICAL entries, in order to get more safety?
any clue?
thanks in advance,
Nen

Why not use the built-in password utility that Microsoft includes in all Pocket PCs? Look in your "Settings" menu.

David,
You're right in using the built-in password as a first step, but if I loose my PDA and it goes to somebody wich is able to disassembly the memory, or if I use a CF card, I still need an encryption software.
At this point, I repeat my question, how can I delete the memory of the typed words in the PDA?
TIA

I've just discovered the Omega One have released a password protection program called i-Pass, which uses either of a combination of hardware buttons or a numeric combination using their own keypad.
