compact flash to PCMCIA adapter

Hi all

I wanted to make everyone aware that the Semsons CFtoPCMCIA adapter does NOT work on the 2200 series machines.

After emailing their support address, they said all other CF-equiped pocket PCs (ipaq 36-39xx, 5xxx, Dell etc) all work fine, but the 2200 is the exception due to some voltage problem (sorry IC's aren't my bag).
I used to use my adapter to connect Lan & Modem cards, and before I knew about this limitation I bought a PCMCIA 4-in-1 card reader to use with it and my Sony Cyershot's MemorySticks... No dice. They do have a 5-in-1 CF reader for that use though.

Thanks for the heads-up. The problem is that the PC card specification draws more power than the CF specification. Some devices have overengineered CF slots, but based on your experience it sounds like the 2210 doesn't.
