For those of you lamenting the fact that you just can't muster the guts to wear an eVEST to your semi-formal office, here is the answer to your prayers: the <a href="http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/access_tie.shtml">new SCOTTeVEST TIE</a>!<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/adrian/sev_tie.gif" /><br /><br />"The 100% silk, bright red Gadget Tie is a must for gadget lovers! The design features cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players and more. The back of the tie has a hidden pocket-- perfect for carrying a credit card, key, money, mints…or any other small items."<br /><br />Unfortunately, the ties won't be available until May, but you can pre-order yours today! Right now, the tie is being offered at a $5 discount, for only $29.99. I've got to tell you, with this latest addition to the SCOTTeVEST collection, I can't think of a single reason why you shouldn't be wearing one of Scott's pocket wonders.<br /><br />Hmmmmm. I wonder...Will this tie look better with my black SCOTTeVEST or my sand-colored one?
lol, I have loads of computer ties but none with PDAs on!
Shame theres no UK retailer :(

That's kinda what I was thinking, especially since I may be out on the town after dinner. Basic black goes with anything. ;)

Agreed, if it is formal enough to wear a tie, I probably should not be wearing one with a "gimmicy" pattern. I would definitely prefer a more subtle pattern.

Is it a regular tie or a clip on? Not that I would wear a clip on, but it would seem that it may be difficult to tie a tie if you had something like a credit card in it.

You would have to empty the pocket before you tied it, I'm sure.

Not sure about this tie but maybe.
In January, I contacted them about buying a couple evests for my son and myself. They were out of the tall sizes at the time but mentioned there would be a whole new line in March.
Brad, I know you're connected. Any word on the new products yet? Is this tie a part of the new collection? March is coming to an end soon.

No, no, of course not. There are many other reasons why people make fun of you

I dont like the idea of keeping keys in it - leaning over a glass counter (eg Jewellers counter) might result in a sudden impact and glass breakage! Plus its just gonna act like a pendulum - watch my tie - you are going into a deeepppp sleepppp! You'd be hypnotised just staring at that pattern anyway!

On a positive note weighting it down would probably allow you to overcome the "Dilbert Tie Syndrome." (http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/dilbert/archive/dilbert-20040320.html)

I can't really say anything about future products, but I know that this one has just been released:

It's a new, lighter-weight spring jacket. And, there's also a sport jacket for times when you need something a bit more formal.
