Cannot access any secure sites via PIE

Hi - My problem is exactly as says above.

I have installed the ROM update on my 2210 and now seem unable to access any secure sites (i.e. my banking sites, my work web mail site and also MSN).

I receive a "The site you are looking for could not be found" message. However all non secure sites are no problem at all whether via pass-thru, wi-fi card or Bluetooth GPRS

Any thoughts on what's going on here ? Have I missed an obvious setting somewhere which needs changing ?

Can you access any other site, because that error message is the same you get when you don't have properly configured your internet connection?

In another hand, I doubt that you could access your bank account using PIE without tweaking the registry. And even tweaking the registry sometime you wont get access to those sites due to JScripts commands used by those pages that are not supported by PIE.

IMMO the best tool to access these pages is NetFront 3.1

It probably isn't quite the same as your situation, but this happened to me once (on an iPAQ 5555); I could get to all sites except https ones. After much hard-resetting and trial-and-error re-installing, my problem turned out to be a pre-2003 version of the Zagat application. Uninstalling it didn't help; a hard reset was required. I don't know if there are other apps that might cause this, and it doesn't seem likely that a ROM update should cause it.

All other sites work just fine - it's only secure sites & MSN

bank sites also worked perfectly in the past. I'm using pie plus but again i had this pre rom update and all was fine.

any other thouhts ?
