I have installed ICQ on my 5450.
When I start ICQ it logs in and connect but I don't see any contacts online until they contact me then that person is shown online but not the others.
Any ideas. I would like to use ICQ if possible. I am using a linksys router with a wireless access point behind the router.

I also have this exact problem. ICQ used to work fine (and does for others) but no-matter what I try, the contacts list is consistently bugged as you describe. I've already tried hard-resetting/re-installing and it doesn't solve the problem. I'm hoping a future update of ICQ for PPC will solve this issue but I'm still waiting for it :(
I connected using a GPRS mobile and my toshi e310 and I doubt your router is a cause.
Unfortunately, and not of much help - I solved the problem by uninstalling ICQ and switching to MSN messenger which works faultlessly on a pocketpc platform.

When in the main ICQ dialog, do you see this?

If so, double tap the arrow in front of General (or the word), and it should expand to show all your buddy list. Also, make sure the Preferences | Show only online users is not checked.

Not sure about tigeraif but basically all i saw was my entire contact list - and they were all offline. Regardless of whether they were or not - however i could still send/receive messages. It's really hard to initiate conversations though unless you know your friends are online...
