Hia,

a quick question, hope to get the answer soon....

As the size of both models iPAQ 4150 and 1940 are exactly the same.... can i buy 1940 case and use it for my 4150..some companies do infact say that 1900 series and 4150 have exactly the same leather case.

I am interested in buying Vaja tan colored case.... if anyone has one for sale please respond....

best regards

The 4150 will fit in a 1940 case. It fits a tiny bit tight - but not tight enough to be a danger of breaking the case or the ipaq though.

The main issues would be:

1. The IR ports are not in the same place so the IR port on the 4150 might be blocked in the 1940 case.

2. The reset hole is in a different place so this will likely be blocked too. You can easily get a free software reset program to offset this problem though.

Otherwise there probably won't be any real problem with using a 1940 case. I use my 1910 Vaja case for my 4150 without any problems whatsoever.

Sharaf,
No, the 1900 cases are not suitable for the 4100. All the possible models
for this unit are the ones listed in the site, in the 4000 series section.
