can I network with iMate through Bluetooth?

Hi;

I ordered my iMate today, it should arrive in 2 days or so, now I always wanted to use it for chat and browse the internet in my bed :)...

Now, I have a desktop with ADSL, can I using bluetooth to connect my iMate to my desktop (in network), and make the iMate use the desktop internet connection (just like I do with other desktop/laptop), or I have to have wi-fi? which is not in iMate, right? I have to buy a kit...

I really would be happy with bluetooth only.

Yes - as long as your desktop has a bluetooth dongle or AP, you can connect to the internet via a bluetooth activesync connection. For specific instructions, check out Geekzone's Bluetooth ActiveSync Guide for i-mate (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2417).
