Two hours of looped MP3 playback at full volume and full screen brightness, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

I would get about 4 hours of mp3 with the screen off.
2-3 hours of wifi with screen 25% brightness.
3-4 hours of gaming with the screen at 25%.
3-4 hours of video with the screen at 25%.

cause i was hoping they last about 8 hours. Maybe I should buy an extra battery with my ipaq? Is there any way to use the ipaq with no battery but hooked into outlet?

With my 2210 ( little different but comparitive for you) I can get at least 6 hrs of playback with the screen turned off and volume at a reasonable level with a set of external headphones.

Also, the charging cradle lets you charge the device and a 2nd battery simultaneously.
