Heh, just credit me and post it as news if it warrants it. First confirmed sighting of an XScale beyond 400MHz I suppose...

Link seems a bit flakey, so here's a screen capture of the press release for CeBit off the Asus site:

Screw my Toshiba e800, this one looks like its borrowed its design from the Ipaq 19xx/4xxx series, is faster and thinner, me want.

hmm, no WiFI...?????

I'm thinking that they will have multipe models. There have been lots of reports that they would have dual wireless.

I'd be surprised if they didn't match the Mio 558 with dual slots and dual wireless.

another siting of a 400+mhz xscale is on this site: http://www.cascatagames.com/thief/ (look on the right side)

It says that the game is compatable with 16mhz dragonball up to 1ghz xscale.

It doesnt prove the that new devices will ever have this, but rather that q handheld processor of this speed will eventually exist.

If the A730 does have both WiFi and BT built in, I will be a new customer. If not, it will be yet another so close and yet.........
