I'm starting a new thread. If you want to be a part of it, tell us where you live, and provide a picture of your neighbourhood or house (or both) ie. the suburb, area.etc you live in. Just curious to see where people live. etc (aren't well all? :) )I'll start off, I live in a suburb about 11km south of Perth, below is...

My house (I have better pics, but for some reason I must have lost them).

My suburb (although not the part where I live). The bush in the foreground is a small (well tiny) nature reserve (Piney Lakes) in the middle of suburbia. Until recently it was home to such unique Australian animalsas the Echinda, Brush-tailed possum and possibly the Goanna (Monitor Lizard). Today, apart from the swamp and Tuart woodland, there are birds, fronts, reptiles, bats and possibly a few small native mammals.

Sorry for the large image sizes, I'll try to keep them smaller next time. And please, if you want to post keep your image files below about 400 kb and fairly small (not like I did). Also remember to save in .JPEG format.

Ah, I hate the internet sometimes. The pictures displayed the first time I posted but now I'm vieweing this message on another pc. Btw, does the pictures url address have to end in a file name suffix? Eg. .jpeg, .gif, .tiff.etc

Well, just right-click the red cross where the image should be and select 'Show image.'

Actually no sorry that won't work. Right click the pic, select 'properties' and copy the url into your address. It should work, work's on my pc.

I believe wherever you're hosting the pics at requires a password for others to view them.

When you type in the URL, it says "forbidden" - you have a password or something on.
