How on earth do I establish a POP3 hotmail email account in my ppc inbox? Many sites seem to give instructions but none actually give you the hotmail server settings. I'm stuck in the last part (5) of the email setup wizard where you must enter the server info. What is the address for incoming and outgoing mail??

ie stmp or something like that. i tried entering 'www.hotmail.com' but that clearly didnt work. Btw how do i import my old hotmail html account in outlook express to outlook 2003? Or is there a way to sync it directly with my ppc? mind the lack of caps i am using my 4350 keyboard.

Inbound & Outbound Servers: hotmail.msn.com

But, you are going to need a plugin like Pocket Hotmail (Handango-$5.00) in order to setup the Hotmail account. In step 3, the service type MUST be Hotmail and I believe that will only work if Pocket Hotmail is installed

Hotmail is neither POP3 nor IMAP. As stated above, you will need to get an addition to Inbox that connects to HTTP email servers.

figured i'll ask here instead of making a new thread..

got the hotmail plugin, but after i go through the procedure of adding a new account (on the PDA) and hit finish, nothing happens. the account i just made is not listed in the Accounts window, and if i redo it - nothing.

i i tried a soft reset - nothing..

this is on an h4155.

thanks

edit: now it says there's already an account "hotmail" but i still don't see it.. dang it.

HTTPMail (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=9539) works with 2003 devices.
You may need to un-install Pocket Hotmail first.
