PPC *2002* Alarm bug?!!?

Hi my h3970 has an alarm bug!!!
i searched everywhere for info but all relate to ppc2003, anyway what happens is that if i set an alarm for 7:00am it wont go off an maybe will go off at 3pm! or not at all!
any ideas on how to fix it?
hard resets dont help

that happened to my ppc2002 3955 afew times. I think its just a ppc thing. (reguardless of os version)

I have this problem constantly with 2002.

I have to soft reset my PPC every night.

I guess I was lucky with PPC2002. After I upgraded to WM2003 and read up on the alarm issue, I noticed folks saying it had been around since PC2002. Never happened to me once on that OS.

All of the tweaks and fixes I've read about seem to pertain to WM2003 but I wasn't specifically looking to see if they were compatible w/ PPC2002. Maybe also look into some thrid party alarm apps. that work in spite of the WM2003 alarm bug?

yeah,
when i first got my ipaq over a year ago, the problem didnt exist, only happened after i didnt use it for a few months.
anyway
anyone know of a *reliable* alarm for ppc?

btw this problem also happens even if the ppc is fully on - backlight on ect at today screen!
