PocketPC 2003 and Ethernet ??

Hi Guys

I have been having real difficulty getting a wired ethernet connection working with my Ipaq 5555 and the NE2000 dirvers.

I have tried both a d-link and grey cell 16bit ne2000 compatible cards that are recognised as ne2000, the system shows a link but I can not communicate.

If I use DHCP, then nothing happens, I do not get allocated an IP and if I specify the IP addess, I am not able to ping or access the network ??/

Are there any issues with ethernet connections with the ipaq ????

any help would be greatly welcome.

iPaq 5550, Pretec (CF) LAN card in either a CF expansion jacket or CF Plus expansion jacket (I have both). No problems at all -- I use it frequently to test clients' LANs.

Do you have vxUtil? Helps enormously in testing and diagnosing network issues.
