Step 1: Install Windows Media Encoder 9 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx)
Step 2: Choose the "Broadcast" option
Step 3: Play a playlist in Windows Media Player on your desktop
Step 4: Turn on WiFi, connect to your AP
Step 5: In WMP on the PPC, select "Tools", then "Open URL"
Step 6: Enter the URL that you're broadcasting to, wait a few seconds, and then...
Step 7: Enjoy!
FYI: If you want to control music playing on your desktop system from your PPC, check out Vinyl (http://www.pocketwerks.com/). 8)

Another option is to map the PC folder(s) which contain the music files to the PPC. I use Resco File Explorer to do that on my PPC. Once mapped, and connected to the PC via WiFi and ActiveSync, you should be able to select the music files on the PPC and play them with WMP or any other music app you use.
Hope that helps. :way to go:
