I am a teacher trying to use pocket pcs in my government class. I've been trying to find a way to share documents with the kids. I know how to beam, but I can only beam one student at a time. At a conference I attended last week, I found that I can connect to students via bluetooth and I have been successful at this. The problem is that I can't figure out how to share files once connected. Can anyone offer any advice?

You might want to post what device you have and what software you are running. With Bluetooth I believe that you will not be happy. My understanding is their is a limit of 7 connections at a time. And my experience is that in reality the limit is 1 other device at a time.
If I was going to do this, I think I would setup an FTP server on my device, and allow the students to log on the device that way. I believe that 802.11b might be a better choice.

I have a HP 5550 and I'm pretty new to the pocketpc. My tech person at school got them for my class last summer and I'm still trying to figure them out! I'm trying to find ways to use them in class and I thought it would be neat to share a ws with the students via bluetooth or beaming, but it looks like I need to just post it to my webpage and have them beam responses to me.
Is there an easy way to learn how to create an FTP server?
Thanks!
