nope, the e10 isnt sdio compatable, which means, no wifi card will work.

that isn't what i wanted to hear;)
so, guess i'll have to try and sell it, how much do you reckon its worth?
and as i'm in the market for a new one, with wifi capabilities, which is the best? Should i stick with Toshiba
thanks

The e310 is now obsolete so unfortunately isn't worth all that much on the market at all. Especially if you've already had it for a few years and the batterylife isn't all that long.
I'm not 100% it isn't SD/IO compatible... hmm
I'm using the e310 now but i'm a bit IPAQ fan. Their 2215 is probably the cheaper alternative to a device that has wi-fi integrated. But shop around... the Dell x3i and others also make great budget models these days.

Jorgen Sundgot claims it has a SDIO slot http://www.infosync.no/show.php?id=2262 - he usually knows what he is talking about.

While Jorgen Sundgot may have stated that the e310 has an SDIO capable slot, there was never a ROM udate for the device that included BSquare's SDIO Now! software and driver to the unit.
Hence, no current SDIO WLAN card on the market will work with this device.

Thanks - I live and learn!
Is there a list of supported (or of unsupported) PDA's somewhere?
Jorgen
Jorgen,
Actually there is. If you go to Socket's SDIO compatibility Matrix ( for WLAN or Bluetooth cards ), they have a pretty good rundown of current devices that will work, and won't. Since Socket, Sandisk and Viewsonic SDIO products all come from Sychip, I would think you could use this as a guide of any of the three companies SDIO products, although software tweaking may be different with each vendors end products.
Here's the link ( in pdf )...
