Hi,
My first post :)
Is there a way to control my desktop pc remotely from my ppc.
I believe it can be done with "Go To My PC" but that costs $20 a month and I don't really want to spend that much.
Appreciate any help.

I suggest Terminal Services (if you're running WinXP Pro) or VNC.

I'm connecting to a Win98 pc, but VNC worked perfectly.
Thanks ctmagnus :D

I have just setup a bluetooth link via activesync between my PC and my XDA2 (i-mate). It works well, and I can browse the internet on my XDA2 using the PC's internet connection (which saves me GPRS usage and seems to be a bit quicker!)
What I can't get working though is file sharing...... When I am on the PC I can drag & drop files from my PC onto the XDA2 via activesync, but I have found no way to get files from my PC onto my XDA2 when I am using the XDA2 and in a different room from the PC. (The postings shown above may be what I am looking for)
Can I setup VNC with what I have - and if so - how??
