help - volume on phone/SMS too low

i've tried every type of ring for the phone on my Samsung pocket pc and pushed the volume up as far as it will go, but the ring is still too soft. this is also true for SMS notifications, which i use as a pager.

does anyone know of any way I can increase the volume on those? thank you.

I think the original poster was referring to the older i700 unit.

In any case, the key with the i700 is to make sure the speaker in the back remains unobstructed. Apart from that, I'm not sure there are many tricks. I always kept mine on vibrate.
