I've just got a PDA running PPC 2002. I need a few apps (freeware if poss) to do the following...any suggestions?
One which will allow me to hold password protected/hidden contacts - either adding this functionality to the existing contacts SW supplied or a new application
Is there anyway of password protecting/hiding individual appications/files?
What software do I need for showing jpegs?
All idea gratefully received!
Thanks

Try Sharp Vault (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/sharpvault.shtml) - you'll have to enter the info in a different program, but it does offer password protection, and it works on PPC 2002. I don't think there's a way to password protect just contacts in either the built-in app, or in one of the superPIM applications (like Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion).

It looks like TEA (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/tea.shtml) will do this. You'll need to encrypt the executable for the program, and then decrypt it when you want to use it.

Peter's Viewer (http://www.freewareppc.com/graphics/petersviewer.shtml) is free, and should work on PPC 2002.
FYI - all of the files above were found on freewareppc.com (http://www.freewareppc.com) - you may want to check it out.
